Formulas

Xc = 1 / (2π × f × C)
XL = 2π × f × L
Resonance: fr = 1 / (2π√LC)
At resonance: Xc = XL

Reactance increases with frequency for inductors (XL) and decreases for capacitors (Xc). At resonance XL = Xc, the circuit impedance is purely resistive and current peaks.
